Condolences

Condolence From: S. I. Drake, Lt/IPD (Ret)
Condolence: On behalf of the Société de Police - IPD Adam & Edward, our condolences to the family and friends of Col John Ford on his transition from this earthly life.

To the family we offer the following thought at this time of loss: What moves through us at times like this is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why he left this earth this soon, or why he left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that he died, but that he lived. And that his life gave many warm memories... too wonderful to forget.

A Salute and Eternal Rest to an officer and a gentleman.

Condolence From: William G. Haneke
Condolence: I want to pay my respects to John Ford, who has been my true brother since the day we met in 1964. He has been my true friend, my advisor, and my supporter. He served as the Best Man at my wedding and helped me and my family throughout the long process of recovery from my wounds from combat in Vietnam. We had a great relationship with his family, as well. We had many great discussions about family, life, and the military. He will be greatly missed on earth and I hope to be reunited with him throughout eternity in heaven. May God grant you eternal peace and rest.
Bill
